Taking a break from humor here. Going for a more serious tone. But not tearjerky.
Serious enough to read along with a piping hot cup of chamomile tea, under a canopy of open sky. But not so emotional that you’ll end up crying.
Unless that aforementioned tea scalds your tongue. Or a bird swoops down from the sky and uses your head as a men’s room. Then some sort of emotional outburst would be warranted.
Poem - “Life’s Sweet Lullaby”
Hello and goodbye
One brings joy, one makes me cry
Life’s sweet lullaby
*
Night and sparkling day
Each special in their own way
Nature has last say
*
Love and bitter hate
Fiery friends out on a date
Flip sides procreate
*
Heavy heart, free mind
Knotted branches all entwined
Emotional bind
*
Climb up and fall down
Vying for the kingly crown
Pauper in hometown
*
Birthday and passing
Count blessings for amassing
Life’s final sassing
THE END
WARNING! LABEL!
ClownWorld Shakespeare’s Instagram may cause severe chuckling, moderate head shaking and intermittent bouts of chin stroking while murmuring “Hmm!”
How’s that, Daddy Government? Am I doing this “warning label” (*cough* nonsense!) correctly?
Enjoy a free dose:
Nice bit of contrast.
A nice change of pace from your usual stuff.
