Sonnet for the Unhappy
This sonnet probably won't make you feel any better, but you never know...
Why do you want to be something you’re not?
Even kings have troubles, anger and woes
Biology encodes your worldly lot
Life is ordered, rarely anything goes
A star is a star if only a dot
But everyone is whipped into throes
Frenzied craving for what they haven’t got
You’re just spinning and grinding your brain wheels
Uncaring fates seal all your earthly deals
Science is awake, but won’t hear your squeals
‘Tis a stark world of electrons, not feels.
